ABOUT THE AYURVEDA DIPLOMA PROGRAM

Ayurvedic medicine is very methodical. It tries to finds the cause of health problem through the analysis of the constitution, its attributes, balances and imbalances in physical and mental aspects. Additionally it also glances into anatomical and physiological disturbances. Ayurvedic medicine gave its knowledge to most of the medical sciences prevailing on the earth. The conventional medicine model is based upon Ayurvedic medicine.

Dr. Pahwa found Ayurvedic medicine so fascinating after studying it and practicing it for several years and finding it the most valuable holistic medical science on the earth that not only looks into physical and mental aspects but also the spiritual factor in one’s life. All above lead Dr. Pahwa to consider disbursing the knowledge to the people who have utmost interest in pursuing this medicine. The Institute is inclined to teach Ayurveda in two stages. First, “Diploma in Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultant” will create an interest in Ayurvedic medicine. This program will teach all the fundamentals of Ayurveda, including history, philosophy, Ayurvedic anatomy and physiology, lifestyle, yoga, diet and nutrition and introduction to Ayurvedic herbology, where student will learn fundamentals of Ayurvedic pharmacology (Dravya-Guna) and medicinal values of common herbs and spices.

More over Part 2 of Ayurvedic teaching is in continuation of Part 1 program as above. You obtain a “Diploma of Ayurveda Practitioner.” This portion of the program teaches fundamentals of Ayurvedic diagnosis, pathology, advanced herbology and disease management, various therapies, and Ayurvedic psychology.
