“It is more important to know what sort of person has a disease than to know what sort of disease a person has.” Hippocrates (460-377 BC)

Introduction

The popularity of Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) has increased significantly across the globe in the last three decades, as well as the use of products among public has grown manifold. We are looking for, searching for and using CAM products as an alternative to and/or in conjunction to the conventional healthcare. They are safer and do not bring untoward deleterious effects when used sensibly. However, there has also been an increase in the growth of self-prescription of CAM products also. This leads to lot of confusion, as the public is not aware of the deeper effects of natural substance and how substances interact with each other. (s) Taken without the knowledge of actions and interactions. More so a general public is also not aware of what foods and diets are nutritionally sound and healthy. Additionally since many of us are busy in employment and with our families, people are turning to educated and knowledgeable practitioners to help them and guide them towards a well studied and researched, naturally and nutritionally sound way of living. We strive to educate practitioners to be those people.

This institute is inclined to offer programs and subjects where one can learn for personal use, supplement previous education, as well as to find employment.

The following courses are offered: Holistic Nutrition, Natural medicine, Herbal medicine and Ayurveda (The Science of Life, from East India). These programs teach students various aspects of specific knowledge in their desired field.

They cover varied subjects of interest to everybody.
