East Indian Philosophies are the Vedic sciences of understanding, universe, God, people, products, medicine etc. Six main philosophies (Shad Darshan): Sankhya, Nyaya, Vaisheshika, Mimamsa, yoga, Vedanta as well as Buddhism, Purusha and Prakriti, Mahad/Mahat (creative intelligence), Ahamkara (ego), Sattva, Rajas,Tamas, Four Pramanas (Evidence), this is to obtain evidence of anything in this universe, Five elements (ether, air, fire, water, earth), characteristics and their relationships, Five Tanmatras (senses), Soul, Mind, Time, Direction

CINHA - AY308 - 6: Ayurvedic Herbology I (Healing)
Course Outline
This subject introduces the concepts of herbal energetics (Dosha correcting properties), Taste (Rasa), potency (Virya), post-digestive effect (Prabhava) and what they mean for your health. This Course will introduce over dozen special herbs and spices, Ayurvedic herbs such as Aloe, Amla, Ashwagandha, Baheda, Brahmi, Guggulu, Harad, Punarnava, Shatavari, Turmeric, Herbal administering medium, Herbal formulations
